Siemens is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop 3D models for mechanical systems and equipment using industry-standard tools.
• Create and execute mechanical simulations within the Virtual Training System (VTS) environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers  and subject matter experts to ensure realistic and accurate simulations.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure design precision.
• Validate and optimize simulation performance to ensure accuracy, functionality, and user engagement.
• Support the integration of 3D assets and simulations into the VTS platform.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and iterative development cycles.
• Maintain documentation of design procedures, simulation parameters, and test results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience – 1- 3 years
• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks, creo, Siemens NX, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with simulation software relevant to mechanical systems and VTS environments
• Solid understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with Virtual Training Systems (VTS) and interactive training technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
