Design Engineer Job in Pune at Forvia Faurecia

Forvia Faurecia is hiring for the role Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform engineering assignments as part of the design/project team for various projects assigned, following and applying the systems and standards set by Faurecia and OEMs under the guidance of the Product Design Engineer.
• Develop 3D models and drawings using appropriate software that meet engineering specifications.
• Adhere to work instructions and descriptions provided by the Product Design Engineer.
• Follow OEM standards and CAD methodologies.
• Comply with Faurecia's systems and procedures, specifically related to CAD/design.
• Complete assignments within the estimated time or before the decided delivery date as given by the Product Design Engineer (PDE).
• Ensure regular daily timesheet entries in SAP.
• Verify the availability of information mentioned in the work order, such as CAD data and relevant documents.
• Understand the work description and contact the Product Design Engineer if there are any queries.
• Fill out the checklist before delivering the project and get it approved by the Product Design Engineer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in mechanical/ automobile/ production/ polymer engineering with prior experience of minimum 2 - 4 years in CAD Software (CATIA / UG etc.) and plastics.
• Good communication skills in English.   
• Knowledge in relevant engineering domain (Seatings-Complete  seat ,interiors, exteriors, acoustics etc) and automobile terminology.
• Good understanding of plastic part design & tooling Knowledge.
• Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices.
