Design Engineer Job in Coimbatore at Flowserve

Flowserve is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Hands on experience in GA Drawing Preparation, BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.
• Ability to provide end to end support for Project engineering work.
• Ability to generate 2D detail drawings, complex 3D models and assembly using CAD software.
• Perform checking of own design/drafting work in compliance with design and drafting standards and fulfilment of engineering job requirements.
• Drive strong engineering performance with respect to responsiveness, key indicators (OTD, KQI, utilization and efficiency).
• Ability to sustain and improve key indicators by using CIP.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration between team engineers, Senior engineer and Supervisors.
• Create design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.

Requirements:

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production Engineering with Minimum 2 Years or Diploma with minimum 4 years of experience in Pump industry is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD design and drafting in any of the 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Knowledge and hands on experience in pump industry
• Knowledge in ASME, API, ISO Standards, and procedures.
• Must be conversant with GD&T (Basics & Advanced) and drafting standard ANSI Y 14.5.
• Hands on experience in pump assembly, repair and servicing is an added advantage.
