Design Engineer Job in Pune at Tata Technologies

Tata Technologies is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design circuit schematics in CHS Capital logic (logical diagrams, physical diagrams, etc.).
• Design schematics in Capital Interactive and Generative flow.
• Calculate EDS design - power distribution, ground distribution, resistance.
• Run DRCs, simulate schematics - voltage drop, short circuit fuse blow analysis.
• Design EDS schematic topology for vehicle platforms, vehicle electrical architecture, and CAN backbone.
• Draw 2D diagrams in both CHS and Catia V5.
• Select fuses, relays, connectors, wires, coverings, and parking clips/clamps.
• Know Automotive Wiring Harness Design Standards in depth.
• Understand the Automotive Wiring Harness Manufacturing Process.
• Troubleshoot auto electrical issues effectively.
• Understand vehicular electrical components thoroughly.
• Use engineering process tools such as DFMEA, 8D, ECN, etc.
• Release designs in PLM.
• Understand DVLO/CVLO/SVLO/SAM/4D processes.
• Ensure accountability for schematic & harness delivery, ensuring vehicle functionality & timelines.
• Interact with CFT for input collection & interface sign-off.
• Adhere to design processes & WCQ requirements.
• Conduct virtual analysis & design calculations.
• Manage data & releases as per guidelines.

Requirements:

• Design Software Tools:
  • Experience in CHS (Logic and Xc)
  • Experience in Catia V5 (Electrical module)
  • Exposure to JT Visualization
• Database Knowledge:
  • Exposure to PLM
• Additional Requirements:
  • Should be able to work in shifts
  • Willing to relocate as required
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Experience in EV will be an added advantage
• Education: BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics
• Experience: 1-3 years in Automotive Electrical
