About this Job
Emerson is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!
Responsiblities of the Candidate:
- Create 3D CAD Models, Assemblies & Drawings in SolidWorks
- Create Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks
- Revise Level Drawings per customer requirement
- Create hook-up blocks for Actuators & Instruments
- Prepare Bill of Materials for Level Drawings
- Help make missing hookups and store them in the database for future use
- Support Outline drawing using ADCI (In House tool)
- Maintain documents in SolidWorks PDM
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in CAD modelling
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred:
- Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering
- Basic understanding of Engineering Standards
- Experience in SolidWorks Macros is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
