Hitachi is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Adaptation of developed High voltage disconnector based on customer requirement.
- Prepare a 3D model of High voltage Disconnector for simulation and production purposes.
- Carry out type test in India – CPRI, ERDA on HV disconnector as per relevant international standards.
- Preparation and release of manufacturing drawings for suppliers.
- Creation of MM and Bill of Material in SAP for HV Disconnectors.
- Customer presentation and discussion with suppliers.
- Prepare timely and accurate 3D and 2D drawings for customer submission.
- Collaboration with all stakeholders in manufacturing including suppliers.
- Activities related to SAP – MM creation + Bill of Materials.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical engineering
- Prepare timely and accurate 3D and 2D drawings for customer submission
- Collaboration with all stakeholders in manufacturing including suppliers
- Activities related to SAP – MM creation + Bill of Materials
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
