Myntra is hiring for the role of Design Associate - Footwear!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop new women's footwear collections in line with current fashion trends and as per brand language.
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and meet production standards.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes for new designs.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to select materials and ensure high-quality production.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Buying. Sourcing and Vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in footwear/accessories design with 2+ years of work experience in the e-commerce or retail industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of women's footwear designs.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for fashion and footwear design.
