About this Job
Adani Group is hiring for the role of Deputy Manager - HSE - Site!
- Ensure that all the safety measures are met and followed by the contractor. Ensure that all the safety aspects are handled as per safety policies and practices.
- Ensure all safety standards, guidelines, and policies are implemented on-site.
- Promote safe practices at the job site.
- Perform emergency response drills.
- Conduct HSE induction for new joiners.
- Conduct toolbox meetings at work-fronts, and organize specific HSE training sessions (in conjunction with Lead HSE & Manager HSE).
- Support in conducting investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
- Suggest hazard mitigation methods and ensure adherence to the same.
- Train staff in First Aid training and monitoring first aid activities.
- Conduct site HSE Committee meetings.
- Prepare various MIS Reports.
- Ensure the Emergency Response & Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP) is implemented as per guidelines.
- Coordinate for contractors & sub-contractors HSE competencies & performance.
- Conduct routine inspections at work fronts and inform of any unsafe/hazardous conditions to the responsible work-front supervisor/discipline engineer.
Qualifications of The Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred. Full-time course (One Year) in Industrial Safety from a reputed college/technical Board of Education
