Deputy Manager - Financial Reporting & Accounting Job in Bangalore at AXA XL

AXA XL is hiring for the role of Deputy Manager - Financial Reporting & Accounting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing Intercompany reconciliation, including preparation, research, clearance, compliance, and governance.
• Assisting with Solvency II Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs) on a quarterly and annual basis, covering liquidity, duration, Cover A1A, and IGT.
• Shadowing colleagues to help with data extraction, validation, and analysis for divisional and statutory solvency reporting.
• Providing necessary support for Q&A, audits, and internal controls.
• Preparing analysis, reports, and reconciliations on ad-hoc requests.
• Ensuring documentation of new/existing processes as per business needs.
• Supporting system enhancement UATs.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities within finance.

Requirements:

• MBA Finance/Commerce Graduate.
• Knowledge of financial statements and insurance concepts.
• Effective analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, VBA, and Power BI.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Big 4/consultancy MNCs preferred.
• Organized, methodical, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
