Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is hiring for the role of Deputy Manager (Engine Machine Shop)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Communicate the daily work plan, quality plan & production, and quality loss to workmen.
• Organize the workforce & deployment in stages based on the skill and competency level of the workman.
• Evaluate each workstation of the machining process to ensure maximum efficiency, improve the process, improve tool life, and reduce work content.
• Handle & resolve live issues related to process, quality & safety.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
• Identify defects and conduct root cause analysis & action planning.
• Set up new model machining, line setup, and ramp-up.
• Implement revenue cost reduction initiatives and practice Improvement idea generation.
• Interact with all support functions and resolve concerns with the help of CFT.
• Benchmark best practices across other plants and industries for manufacturing excellence.

Requirements:

• Educations: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical 
• Experience: 2-7 years
• Knowledge of machining processes and CNC programming on HMC & VMC is a must
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, TPM, TQM
• Knowledge of quality systems and adherence through review
