Deployment Engineer - Associate Manager Job in Mumbai at SS&C

SS&C hiring for the role of Deployment Engineer - Associate Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Deploy and support APX and Moxy in SS&C Advent’s hosted client environments (Advent Outsourcing Services, or “AOS”), including application troubleshooting, upgrades and patches
• Assist in testing and updating existing runbooks
• Install and configure Advent’s proprietary applications and Microsoft SQL Server
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff
• Develop and follow detailed project plans, schedules, and related project documentation
• Participate in team on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Having expertise in installing and administering SS&C Advent APX or Moxy is a plus
• Have experience with Windows system administration in an Enterprise environment
• Understanding of scripting and automation technologies (Chef, Jenkins, Shell Script)
• Excel in complex problem analysis and hands-on creative solutions, designs, and implementations
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with clients
• Have experience managing cloud environments utilizing Windows, Citrix, and VMware 
• Results-driven self-starter with the ability to complete work independently within a collaborative environment 
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, execute according to project schedules, provide operational support, and deliver results with a high level of quality 
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies to implement and support a fast-paced environment
