Harman is hiring for the role of Demand Planner!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take ownership and coordination for all Demand Planning (Forecasting) activities for the assigned OEMs.
• Be accountable for delivering a monthly rolling 24-month consensus forecast, working together with a cross-functional team of Customer Business Units, Program Managers, and other key members.
• Support monthly financial closing and ensure on-time delivery of data including account review and variance analysis.
• Coordination of 5YP (five years plan) activities together with the Sales excellence team, once a year.
• Ensure 100% adherence to the Global Consensus Demand Planning Process using the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool.
• Maintain and use key input data elements like system program architecture, OEM vehicle production, take rates, customer forecasts, statistical forecasts, etc. in preparation of the forecasts.
• Drive forecast excellence with high forecast accuracy levels.
• Support in preparation for Senior Leadership meetings when needed.
• Prepare KPIs, reports as well as ad-hoc analyses to drive progress.
• Participate in problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Support all process improvement activities.
• Support special projects as required by the business.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 3+ years in Sales & Operations Planning.
• Knowledge of/experience in ERP systems: SAP, IBP, BW preferred.
• Strong Analytical skills with the ability to manage big data sets.
• Flexible independent worker with an ability to lead and problem-solve.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin language skills.
• Hindi is strongly preferred. (For Asia only)
