DBA - Associate Manager Job in Noida at IRIS Software

Iris is hiring for the role of DBA - Associate Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Demonstrated expertise in database designing, data modelling and core component implementation using Oracle or Postgres.
• Sound knowledge of data integration and relational data modelling.
• Resourceful in optimization and performance tuning, eliminating timeouts and deadlocks, refactoring long running queries to reduce concurrency issues.
• Excels in automating the backup and purging processes, scaling production Databases to handle growing traffic with active users.
• Competent in handling reverse engineering of existing application.
• Experienced in ETL processes, ETL testing and Power BI reporting. Overseeing the mapping of data sources and data movement between interfaces with ensuring data quality.
• Handling requirement gathering direct from stakeholders and working on technical documentation including SRS, Test Cases and Test Plan
• Handling the release management activities and ensuring the monthly iterations are completed without any issues
• Basic knowledge of Cloud architecture, Snowflakes, Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Robust acumen in requirement gathering, resource management, project planning and achieving deadlines.
• Data analysis for Postgres or Oracle DB.
• Development/modification of major database components
• Data transformation using SSIS built in transformations including Aggregation, Audit, Cache Transform and Data Mining
• Data visualization, Validation between DB and Endur through database testing (SQL)
• Creating and publishing analytical reports using Power BI
• Project management activities including resource planning, stakeholder management and weekly reporting for business users
