Innovaccer is hiring for the role of DataBase Reliability Engineer-I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for Provisioning, availability 24X7, reliability, performance, Security, maintenance, upgrades, and cost optimization
• Very good proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python
• Experience with Mongo and knowledge in any one of the other databases like ElasticSearch , Redis, Postgresql, mysql and Snowflake
• Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL or PL/PgSQL
• Must be an expert in Linux operating systems and knowledgeable in automation tasks
• Knowledge on Devops tools like Terraform, GIT Hub, Jenkins, Kubernetes is a plus
• Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Knowledge on backup, recovery procedures, high availability, replication and Disaster recovery 
• Knowledge in monitoring tools (New Relic, Data Dog, PagerDuty) 
• implement and maintain database security policies, roles, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection law HIPAA related to data security and privacy
• Capacity planning of large-scale database clusters
• Identify and tune the long-running queries to improve DB performance  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience is required
• Work in a fast-paced environment with the agility to change directions as per business needs
• You should have hands-on of experience with a start-up mentality in managing & troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems 
• Hands-on experience on SQL query writing along with Python in any database environments 
• Demonstrated experience with multi-cloud environments like AWS, Azure and GCP 
• Having knowledge / experience on MongoDB / Snowflake / ElasticSearch is a plus 
• Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with ideas 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciencs.
