Prismberry is hiring for the role of Database Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Strong algorithm and logic-building capability
- Ability to Prototype rapidly
- Fluency in MSSQL
- Deep understanding of Entity-Relationship concept and Normalization/Denormalization
- Experience in indexing and performance monitoring and tuning
- Write optimized, effective, reusable and scalable code
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Test and debug with refactoring capabilities
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Knowledge in RESTful API and microservice environment
- Understanding of AGILE
- Ability to create technical documentation
- Soft skills to work in a team environment
- Work in a startup environment with a high level of ownership and commitment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, ME, or equivalent, with a minimum 2+ years of experience
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on Experience with MSSQL
- Experience in one of AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud
- Some understanding of building scalable and reliable products in the cloud
- Able to prioritize end-to-end, debug, and develop modular code
- Able to think outside the box and discover innovative solutions for complex data management issues
