SHL is hiring for the role of Database Engineer!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure database management and issues are detected and resolved within SLA.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for code improvements.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams for defining and prioritizing customer service features.
- Contribute to blog posts, whitepapers, reference architectures, and workshops
- Work in shifts to cover 24x5 and be available on call to respond to critical incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with internal teams for choosing the right database services.
Requirements:
- Hands on experience Relational Database implementation & migration.
- Bachelor's or equivalent degrees in computer science, software engineering or mathematics.
- Knowledge of Schema Design, Query Tuning & Optimization and Data Migration-Integration.
- Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable database architectures
