Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with data stewards across various departments to ensure proper data classification and ownership.
• Implement and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry data standards.
• Serve as a liaison between data management, functions and business departments.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to ensure consistency.
• Oversee the migration, storage, and archiving of data.
• Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to resolve data-related issues.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in data processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data management, governance, or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
