Data Specialist Job at Teikametrics

• Gathering and interpreting requirements into actionable information based on the needs of cross-functional teams.
• Maintaining current and creating new spreadsheets as necessary.
• Verifying and extracting data from databases or systems.
• Analyzing data and formatting into actionable, insightful, information to be consumed company-wide.
• Performing regular data integrity checks and quality audits to ensure a high level of data integrity.
• Creating and submitting reports as requested or necessary.
• Training team members on new processes, data definitions, or reports.
• Troubleshoot data collection and reporting errors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data science, data analytics, computer science, or similar field 
• 2+ years experience as a data specialist 
• 1+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Java, or JavaScript
• 1+ years of experience with Financial or Accounting concepts or modeling
• Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple sources and formats
• In-depth knowledge of data retrieval and storage systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with end-user training and support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Simultaneously be able to work independently and take direction as necessary
• Highly attuned attention to detail
