Data Scientist Intern Internship in Gurgaon at Galaxycard

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Support the development and implementation of machine learning models. Collaborate with the data science team to refine and optimize models for improved accuracy and performance.
• Contribute to the creation of predictive models and algorithms. Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and develop models that can be used for forecasting and decision-making.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively. Present findings and results to the team in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve existing processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with the data science team and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals. Collaborate effectively to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis procedures. Ensure that all work is properly documented and easily accessible for future reference.
• Take initiative in learning new data science techniques, tools, and programming languages. Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and relevant courses to expand your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of data science concepts, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries, such as pandas, NumPy, or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, matplotlib, or ggplot.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience or coursework in data science or related fields is a plus.
