Mercedes Benz is hiring for the role of Data Scientist Drivetrain!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Map diverse requirements to implementation on Azure/Big data platform with conflicting requirements and constraints
• Architect solution on Azure cloud/On-Prem big data system to reach and cater to end-user needs
• Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers, or the wider organization
• Select the right technology from the available possibilities
• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
• Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills with Python(num-py, pandas)
• Strong programming skills with Pyspark, SparkSQL
• Strong skills in RDBMS and SQL programming
• Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP
• Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice pattern
• Strong skills in the application of Machine learning and Deep learning algorithms to real-world problems
• Strong experience in architecting End2End BI & analytics solutions on Azure cloud
• Good to have: Know-how on working with Data Bricks, HD Insights, Azure Data Factory
• Independent analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multicultural environment is an added advantage
