GeoTechnoSoft is hiring for the role of Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with stakeholders to define business questions and identify relevant data sources.
• Clean, process, and analyze complex datasets using R, with a focus on libraries such as the tidyverse (including dplyr and ggplot2) and tidyr.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using R libraries like ggplot2 and Shiny to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various databases.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build robust data pipelines and models.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in R for data analysis. You should be comfortable with data wrangling, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis using libraries like the tidyverse.
• Solid experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., ggplot2, Shiny).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to data analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to diverse audiences.
