DBS Bank is hiring for the Role of Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• We’re looking for Data scientists across different levels to drive our journey towards becoming the most intelligent bank in the world
• Consult with business stake holders to understand the business problem and devise data driven solutions
• Develop end to end data driven solutions starting from business problem understanding to deployment and productionising of the devised solution
• Continuously improve the existing processes of developing and deploying machine learning solutions
• Identify new opportunities from the bank by analyzing the vast amounts of both structured and unstructured data
• Develop cross sell, Up Sell, Attrition models to aid customer management and enable additional revenue to the bank
• Develop Hyper personalization solutions for the consumer bank

Requirements:

• A Solid understanding of statistics, mathematical modeling, Machine learning
• Solid experience in building decision trees, Random Forest, Gradient boosting or any other ML methods both for classification as well as regression problems
• End to end experience right from solution development to deploying models into production
• Ability to program in Python, PySpark and SQL
• Proactive and able to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to self-learn new skills and technologies
• Experience in analytics and modeling in banking domain is good to have but not necessary
