Data Scientist Job in Mumbai at RBL Bank

RBL Bank is hiring for the role of Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work closely with the data warehouse team and other business teams to obtain relevant data for implementation. Be adept at working with structured and unstructured data sources and perform secondary research to explore third-party data sources for enrichment.
• Support the digital acquisition strategy by segmenting and predicting response rates for leads to improve overall response rates.
• Create and supervise the building of models focused on channel migration, cross-selling, upselling, and enhancing customer engagement strategies.
• Implement various technologies, including recommendation engines, campaign management solutions, and CRM systems, alongside creating data sets and marts for the analytics practice within the bank.
• Implement specific use cases on big data platforms.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree (B.E, B.Sc in Statistics, M.Sc in Statistics, or equivalent).
• 1-3 years of experience in the analytics space, with a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
• Familiarity with basic supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms and a quick learning aptitude.
• Understanding of the banking domain is advantageous.
• Proficient in SQL and R or other statistical programming languages, with knowledge of Python as a plus.
• Strong analytical modeling techniques and statistical concepts relevant to model application and evaluation.
• Team player, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
