UST USource is hiring for the role of Data Science Associate:

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist in data mining and acquiring data from primary and secondary sources.
• Reorganize data into an analyzable format.
• Analyze data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
• Assist in the creation, update, and deletion of master data.
• Develop analytics to identify trends across data sources within the organization.
• Assist senior analysts in evaluating business processes and providing suggestions for improvements.
• Support technical writing and editing tasks as required.
• Develop data models and create reports to illustrate trends and behaviors.
• Assist in performance tuning, archiving, and data quality assurance.
• Document work and peer-review documentation of others.
• Follow coding best practices and manage code versions using version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive insights.
• Proficiency in statistical methods and data analysis software.
• Experience in coding, testing, and debugging.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS).
• Basic understanding of software version control
