Inc42 is hiring for the role of Data Research Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct meticulous research to verify and update funding and acquisition data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Tag investors and companies with new classifications and subclassifications based on the Inc42 tagging framework.
• Extract and compile data from primary and secondary sources to fill in missing information.
• Conduct research on Financial Data, gaining an understanding of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) website and various forms such as MGT-14, PAS-14, AOC-4, SH-9, MGT-7, DIR-12, etc.
• Expand Inc42’s Company Database.
• Research, verify, and update Fund Launches of Investor Entities.
• Research and map IPO & Stock Price data for all listed companies. Also, create a framework with collaboration with the data team to collate this information on a recurring basis.
• Research and map Legal Names of Indian Startups.
• Research and map Valuation of Indian Startups.
• Verify and update people data, integrating past experience and educational backgrounds.
• Generate innovative ideas weekly for engaging data-backed posts, covering topics such as shareholding patterns, unicorns founders from small towns, industry insights, and financial trends.
