Zeta Tech is hiring for the role of Data Reliability Engineer I / II!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based database systems on Amazon RDS
- Set up and configure monitoring and alerting tools to continuously monitor the health, performance, and availability of cloud databases.
- Respond to alerts and incidents, working to minimize downtime and performance degradation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IAC) templates (e.g., using Terraform) to automate routine database tasks, deployments, and updates
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing and administering PostgreSQL database systems in Amazon RDS
- Strong SQL skills for writing and optimizing database queries.
- Experience with AWS platform and Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for DB systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana,) is beneficial.
