ANZ is hiring for the role of Data Privacy Analyst!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Privacy / Data Protection obligations management – ensuring privacy obligations are maintained accurately
• Records Management obligations management – ensuring obligations are maintained accurately
• Regulatory change support – supporting in country compliance teams to achieve compliance in response to regulation change
• Prepare monthly / quarterly reports for Privacy Office
• Maintain the Record of Processing
• Other Privacy and Records Management risk management processes

Requirements:

• Possess good awareness and ability to comprehend legislation, regulations and standards relating to both privacy/data protection and records management.
• Experience in data lifecycle (retention and disposal), records management or information management, privacy & data protection.
• Experience in legislation/regulation review and research
• Awareness of emerging privacy trends and regulations
• Organisational and documentation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with Legal, Compliance and Risk teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of records management and privacy/data protection best practices.
• Understanding of operational risk management processes
• Understanding of banking operations and typical privacy & records management challenges
