Optum is hiring for the role of Data Engineering Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Gathering data from various sources and integrating it into a centralized data storage system
• Design and implement data models that support business requirements and enable efficient data analysis and reporting
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from source systems to the target data storage system
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of data by implementing data validation and quality checks
• Play a crucial role in implementing data governance policies and security measures to protect sensitive data
• Optimize data processing and storage systems for improved performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet their needs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in the field of data engineering
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
