MSCI is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of Candidates:

• Assist in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems
• Contribute to solutions that handle large volumes of data
• Help develop data processing pipelines
• Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage workflows
• Assist in implementing data validation and error-handling mechanisms
• Contribute to systems that maintain data consistency across distributed nodes
• Help optimize system performance
• Assist in implementing data analytics and machine learning pipelines
• Contribute to systems for real-time and batch data processing
• Help integrate machine learning models into big data workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more programming languages, particularly Python
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Familiarity with basic monitoring and logging tools
• Understanding of batch and real-time data processing concepts
• Interest in data analytics and machine learning pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with a strong passion for learning new technologies
