IndiQube is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibility of the Candidate:

• Design, build, and manage data pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, Dataproc, etc.) for real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data sources and ensure smooth data ingestion and transformation.
• Optimize and monitor data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using GCP-native tools and modern orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Cloud Composer).
• Implement data quality, validation, and governance frameworks to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Partner with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Continuously explore and introduce best practices and innovations in data engineering and GCP ecosystem.

Requirements:

• 1- 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering (for mid-level) or 5+ years (for senior).
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, Dataproc).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data modeling principles.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development, streaming data, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Exposure to data governance, security, and monitoring tools (Data Catalog, Data Loss Prevention, Looker).
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex data concepts clearly.
