International Schools Partnership is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and maintain our data processing architecture 
• Assist in implementing, managing, and supporting a robust access control model 
• Management & provisioning of the cloud data infrastructure 
• Development of cloud-based ELT/ETL processes 
• Scope and source new data for ingestion 
• Support in maintaining cloud data infrastructure, managing change and enhancements 
• Ensuring high levels of data security and compliance 
• Adhering to data policies and procedures 
• Supporting the BI team with any new data requests 

Requirements:

• Experience with Azure Portal and Databricks is a must 
• Strong programming languages; SQL, Python, Scala, R. 
• Experience in analysing data on large datasets (Terabytes) 
• Exposure to data modelling concepts.
• Experience in building and delivering data marts, data warehouses, data lake and delta lake solutions. 
• Development of data ingestion pipelines and robust ETL frameworks. Implementation of data cleansing and data quality features in ETL pipelines. 
• Some professional experience of data engineering, with the ability and willingness to learn.  
• Experience in documenting low level ETL designs 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent) 
• 2-3 years work experience in a similar capacity 
• Demonstrated experience developing and operationalizing complex data projects
