AGCO is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with data scientists, simulation experts, software developers, and other teams to understand data requirements and provide the necessary infrastructure for analytics and AI initiatives. 
• Design and develop scalable, reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data, ensuring high-quality access for analytics, AI, and real-time decision-making. Integrate diverse data sources into existing infrastructure while maintaining consistency and accessibility. Apply best practices for code optimization. 
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth, cost-effective operation and high data quality. Maintain clear documentation. 
• Leverage cloud platforms and services to implement cost-effective, scalable data solutions. Select appropriate technologies for data integration, processing, and storage, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability. 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing data pipelining solutions for large and structured data, and unstructured data is a plus, or 1+ years of experience with AWS cloud services and Databricks. 
• Experience with code optimization techniques to enhance performance and efficiency is beneficial. 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Spark, and SQL. 
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database technologies such as Unity Catalog, Redshift, and MongoDB.
