Data Engineer Job in Bangalore at Fluence

Fluence is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, optimize, and document data models and data pipelines for the APM platform.
• Support data scientists by efficiently extracting, transforming, cleaning, filtering, and preparing data, while ensuring data validation, quality checks, and synchronization.
• Maintain and develop relational, document and in-memory databases.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Formulate, suggest, and manage data-driven projects to contribute to the strategic objectives of the APM software.

Requirements:

• BSc or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in either software engineering or data engineering.
• Solid programming skills in Python . Any other language a plus.
• Hands-on experience in relational database administration.
• Experience with AWS, in-memory databases and Amazon S3.
• Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build solid working relationships — from individual contributors to executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
