Goavega Software Inc. is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and related technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries to handle large volumes of data and improve processing times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and engineering team.
- Status report: Attend daily stand ups with the team.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks
