AtkinsRealis is hiring for the role of Data Engineer! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
• Collaborate with Project Team to understand data needs and design effective data workflows.
• Create and maintain data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Utilizing Azure Data Factory, create and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
• Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures will ensure the quality, integrity, and dependability of the data.
• Improve the scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines.
• Having hands on experience in Azure Data bricks.
• Hands on with Python.
• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
• Develop complex SQL queries for small to large sets of data, lead query optimization efforts.
• Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) considering database security.
• Analyse and develop strategies and approach to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations.
• Knowledge on LogicApp and PowerBI is added advantage.
• Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
• Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.
• Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data.
• Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables.
• Managing resources for the team.
