Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze data using state-of-the-art methods.
• Build and maintain ETL jobs to keep data up-to-date in data warehouse from multiple sources like RDBMS, Salesforce, flat files, JSON files, DynamoDB, etc.
• Create and maintain visualizations and dashboards on a variety of data using visualization tools.
• Provide insights to business by analyzing complex data.
• Assist data scientists in building data pipelines.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results.
• Create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.
• Work with users and internal resources to define and refine requirements.
• Act as an informal resource to less experienced colleagues when resolving technical issues.
• Participate in helping identify product and process changes to help the team move forward and better achieve its goals.
• Report to the Lead Engineer.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Have overall 2+ years of experience.
• Have 1+ years of experience in the AWS Cloud.
• Have 1+ years of experience in the AWS Glue or Talend ETL tools.
• Have 1+ years of experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience writing and debugging complex SQLs.
• Experience transforming complex data structures like JSON and XML files.
• Experience working on AWS platforms like S3 and Redshift data warehouses.
• Experience working with Python will be preferred.
• Experience building APIs will be desirable.
• Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments whenever required.
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation and analysis while still being able to understand the merits of others’ opinions.
• Experience weighing specific technical trade-offs to maximize impact for effort.
• Be a highly motivated, organized, proactive self-starter and a team player.
• Have a data-oriented personality.
