Tech Alchemy is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, build, and maintain a cloud-based data pipeline and dashboards for various applications.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and design data solutions that meet those needs.
• Write high-performance, scalable, and maintainable code for data, organizing, processing, and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game developers, data scientists, and operations teams, to ensure data is being used effectively to support live ops.
• Monitor and maintain data quality, security, and privacy standards.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Blockchain industry, and recommend new tools and techniques that can improve the data pipeline.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Knowledge of Python Programming Language
• Knowledge of building data dashboards using different tools like Tableau, etc
• Understanding of data engineering, with a strong focus on live ops in blockchain technologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Postgres, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS Glue)
• Understanding with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub)
• Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Familiarity with data security and privacy standards and best practices
