YASH Technologies is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Gather user requirements and document existing Safe Source data, encompassing tables and flat files.
• Identify Safe Source to establish and maintain Fact & Dimension tables for Business, adhering to TACCSS principles (Transactional, Accurate, Clean, Complete, Safe source, and Standardized) data. Establish dataflow diagrams to visualize and optimize data processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement data standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Lead performance improvement projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness in data management.
• Work closely with and influence global teams to implement process improvements, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Execute project milestones promptly and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong SQL skills (RDBMS / SnowFlake).
• Able to program in multiple languages (SAS, JavaScript).
• Functional knowledge of Supply chain & Logistics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Above average initiative.
• Adaptability to changing priorities.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Can work independently as well as in a team.
• Eager to learn & improve, and continuously hone their skills.
• Strong solution-oriented analytic skills and creativity in their problem-solving.
• Has great attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
• Has great communication skills – Can represent the architect team, and address their needs & requirements in meetings with process partners (inside & outside of the greater team).
• Must be willing to work in different shifts to have enough overlap with the global team.
