YASH Technologies is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Gather user requirements and document existing Safe Source data, including tables and flat files.
• Identify Safe Source to establish and maintain Fact and Dimension tables for Business, ensuring TACCSS principles (Transactional, Accurate, Clean, Complete, Safe source, and Standardized) are met.
• Develop dataflow diagrams to visualize and optimize data processes.
• Collaborate with different teams to implement data standards and ensure data integrity.
• Lead performance improvement projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness in data management.
• Work closely with and influence global teams for continuous process improvements.
• Execute project milestones promptly and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience required: 1-2 years
• Possesses strong SQL skills, particularly in RDBMS and SnowFlake environments.
• Proficient in programming across multiple languages, including SAS and JavaScript.
• Functional knowledge in Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
• Demonstrates above-average initiative and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
• Eager to learn and improve, continuously honing skills.
• Exhibits solution-oriented analytic skills and creativity in problem-solving.
• Great attention to detail while keeping sight of the big picture.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of representing the architect team and addressing their needs in meetings with process partners, both internal and external.
• Willingness to work in different shifts to ensure sufficient overlap with the global team.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including Joins, Subqueries, and CTEs.
• Proficient in developing Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions.
• Understanding of SnowFlake features.
• Familiarity with SnowFlake functions such as Window functions, Aggregate functions, Date & Time functions, and String functions.
• Skilled in troubleshooting existing SQL queries.
• Competent in creating Fact and Dimension Views.
