Valiance is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Optimize customer journey and ongoing communication to drive usage, credit education, and repayment across multiple digital channels (SMS, USSD, OBD)
• Build credit strategy to define customer eligibility and limit/exposure decisions through customer loan life cycle
• Build and Track various Portfolio MIS against the plan
• Execute campaigns to drive uptake, usage, and repayment, track performance KPIs
• Build and maintain collection MIS and support performance tracking with collection agencies
• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to develop and implement a "Test & Learn" approach for various messages, offers, etc

Requirements:

• Good analytical thought process and aptitude for problem-solving
• Hands on experience using SQL/ Pyspark, SQL in a big data Hadoop/spark environment, AWS, GCP
• Hands-on experience in data cleaning and feature creation using Python / Pyspark, Data pipeline, ETL
• Strong entrepreneurial drive
