Mercedes Benz is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understanding business needs around big data integration, data engineering, and data operations to build end-to-end data pipelines for analytics purposes.
- Describe specific business problems and support the solution-engineering process.
- Master Data Management, data transformation, and data preparation for structured and unstructured data (Image).
- Orchestrate, Automate, maintain, and testing of Data Pipelines on-premises and off-premises.
- Ensure data records are well-structured as per requirement.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of analyzing/developing and implementing data models for storing, handling, and realization of data tools and databases.
- Deep understanding of Python. Knowledge of different packages of Python used for data engineering.
- Good understanding of spark, pyspark, and distributed computing.
- Familiar with the Linux environment. Knowledge of shell scripting is an added advantage.
- Experience in designing relational and non-relational databases – PostgreSQL/Cassandra and eliminating performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with version control tools – GIT, GitLab, Atlassian toolchain.
