Data Delivery Analyst Job in Hyderabad at HSBC

HSBC is hiring for the role of Data Delivery Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions based in Hong Kong, this role is responsible for the delivery of data for the Group Functions, supporting several Regulatory activities
• Working closely with the Senior Manager Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions to ensure that prioritized use cases are built to agreed data requirements, impact tested, and delivered for the end user
• Producing Data Analysis within the agreed framework and completing Impact Assessment Analysis to deliver the data assets
• Shaping the development and enhancements of the various data platforms and refineries, with the objective of ensuring that data is consumed from trusted sources
• Supporting the data provisioning via  strategic data platforms
• Working closely with internal team members, process owners, and external stakeholders (e.g. data engineers) to successfully deliver the respective data assets to data consumers across the functions

Requirements:

• University degree in relevant disciplines
• Strong relevant work experience
• Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in Risk, Compliance, and Finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within the Hadoop and GCP ecosystems in addition to strong technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS
• Proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence will be advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Ability to navigate within the organization
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong team player with the ability to coach junior staff and work with offshore resources
