Paytm is hiring for the role of Data Centre Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Analyze data center-related requirements/concerns at the first level.
- Provide L1/L2 Linux administration support, including clustering and OS management.
- Ensure timely handling, accurate diagnosis, and prompt resolution of datacenter-related calls.
- Maintain and monitor audit evidence/artifacts.
- Provide relevant data for data center-related dashboard measurements.
- Monitor daily data center operational tasks performed by the team and vendor.
- Manage and maintain data center operations, including server, storage, and device commissioning/decommissioning.
- Coordinate installation tasks for new server/infra applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MCA from a premier institute
- 1-3 years of experience
- Independent work ethic and ownership
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle pressure situations
- 24/7 shift availability and willingness to travel
- High level of drive, initiative, and self-motivation
- Ability to take internal and external stakeholders along
- Understanding of Technology and User Experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Continuous learning mindset
