Data Architect / Business Data Analyst Job in Bengaluru at NetApp

NetApp is hiring for the role of Data Architect / Business Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Design scalable data models, dataflows, and architectures for analytics and operational reporting.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and deliver production-ready analytical systems.
• Translate business requirements from Customer Success and Professional Services into technical data solutions.
• Work with emerging analytics, data science, and machine learning technologies to enhance data value.
• Collaborate with global teams to improve customer engagement and operational performance.
• Ensure data models align with business processes across CSOps and PSOps.
• Participate in end-to-end project execution from concept to deployment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence decisions with data-driven insights.
• Lead data architecture discussions and provide guidance to IT delivery teams.
• Work across Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project execution.
• Maintain compliance with SOX requirements for financial and operational data.
• Handle multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in at least two business domains such as Customer Success, Professional Services, Install Base, Case Management, Revenue Reporting, or Customer Support.
• Proven experience delivering multiple complex technical/data projects from concept to production.
• Advanced skills in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Proficiency in SQL and REST APIs; experience with Python or NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience working with data platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle Data Warehouse, HVR, or Informatica IICS.
• Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of analytics, data engineering, and enterprise data architecture.
• Familiarity with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance principles, especially related to revenue and financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to take ownership of initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field.
