Fidelity is hiring for the role of Data Architect!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• This role is for a data architect who can understand, guide, and solves complex functional, technical and architectural issues around data.
• He/she must understand the implications associated with the chosen technical strategy well aligned with the business context.
• He/she will be interacting with various levels of the business and technical community, for building more context, explaining the underlying problems, and for presenting the solutions.
• He/she will handle the logical and physical data architecture landscape, and need to ensure that our data solutions are optimal and compliant with EOL policies; security policies etc.
• He/she will be acting as guardians of the data landscape across the data lifecycle; understands the technical data lineage and data definition and embeds ‘data’ into ISS deliveries.

Requirements:

• Experience in Application Architecture. Should have played an Application Architect role in multiple projects
• Experience or understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Issue Management
• Experience or understanding of Data Product model and the required supporting data capabilities
• Experience in data modelling techniques and creating various data models 
• Experience in AWS cloud services and Snowflake and the associated architecture patterns
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with ‘technical’ or ‘non-technical users/ customers
• Ability to guide/mentor juniors in the team and review code artefacts
• The ability to convey complex, abstract technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritise own activities, work under hard deadlines.
