Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Partner with business leadership to provide strategic, information-based recommendations that maximize the value of data and information assets while protecting against disruptions and embracing innovation.
• Assess the benefits and risks of data by using tools such as business capability models to create a data-centric view that aligns with business strategy.
• Create data strategy and roadmaps for the Reference Data Architecture as required by clients.
• Engage all stakeholders to implement data governance models and ensure execution based on change requests.
• Ensure that data storage and database technologies are supported by the enterprise’s data management and infrastructure.
• Develop, communicate, support, and monitor compliance with Data Modeling standards.
• Oversee and monitor frameworks to manage data across the organization.
• Provide insights into database storage and platforms to optimize ease of use and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure integrity, objectives, and system configuration.
• Work with functional & technical teams and clients to maximize the value of information across the organization.
• Present data repositories, objects, source systems, and data scenarios for front-end and back-end usage.
• Define high-level data migration plans to transition data from source to target systems/applications, addressing gaps between current and future states while aligning with IT budgets and capital planning processes.
• Maintain knowledge of all Data Service Provider platforms to ensure an end-to-end view.
• Oversee all data standards, references, and papers for proper governance.
• Promote, guide, and enforce common semantics and proper use of metadata.
• Collect, aggregate, match, consolidate, quality-assure, persist, and distribute data throughout the organization to ensure consistency, accuracy, and control.
• Provide solutions for RFPs received from clients and ensure overall implementation assurance.
• Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of all databases, including systems and shared infrastructure services, to better align with business objectives.
• Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set up a collaboration solution for big/small data.
• Provide technical leadership in implementing custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology.
• Identify current issues and problems and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem while maintaining consistency.
• Understand the root causes of integration challenges between business and product units.
• Validate solutions/prototypes from a technology, cost structure, and customer differentiation perspective.
• Collaborate with sales and delivery leadership teams to identify future needs and requirements.
