Uber is hiring for the role of Data Analytics Specialist!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work on resolving the issues highlighted in the data, data tables, and queries
- Work on making changes in various data sources(tables/queries) to accommodate any new launches
- Build and maintain queries, tables, data models, or data pipelines for any global requirement
- Interpret and enhance existing queries/data pipelines and improve the existing system to make the process as efficient as it can be
- Coordinate with various teams and collaborators to seek alignment on the changes required
- Mentor junior resources within the team
- Lead data infrastructure projects for the larger team
Requirements:
- Advanced SQL
- Sophisticated skills in Excel/Sheets
- Entry-level ability in Python
- Stakeholder Management
- Experience in data modeling or ETL pipeline development is a plus
- Familiarity with any of the following technologies: Hive, Presto, Spark SQL
- Familiarity with Hadoop data storage concepts
