PricewaterhouseCoopers is hiring for the role of Data, Analytics and AI Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create business intelligence from data.
• Develop an understanding of the business, the data, and the technology used to store and analyse that data.
• Use our Rapid Business Intelligence Solutions, data visualisation and integrated reporting dashboards.
• Deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to more effectively run their business.
• Understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the answers.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skill Set:
  • Statistical Computer Languages:
    • Experience using statistical computer languages such as Scala, Spark, and Python to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
  • Data Architectures
    • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • Machine Learning Techniques:
    • Knowledge of various machine learning techniques, including clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks, along with an understanding of their real-world advantages and drawbacks
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and tools, such as Hive, Spark, and Shell/Unix scripts
  • Control M:
    • Proficiency in using Control M for job scheduling and workflow automation
  • Preferred Skill Set:
    • Additional experience or specialization in any of the mandatory skill sets
    • Demonstrated ability to work on advanced data engineering projects and develop innovative solutions
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Qualifications:
  • Education: MSc in a relevant field
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer
