FedEx is hiring for the role of Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s).
• Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.
• Import, clean, transform, validate data from RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata) with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making. 
  Able to transform large volume data into information and information into insight.
• Answer business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data to improve key success metrics related to yield management and revenue generation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as 
  mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics & statistics.
• Master’s degree in relevant 
  specification will be the first preference.
• Experience of at least 1 - 3 years of analytics, informatics and statistics 
• SAS programming experience, e.g. SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner; advanced macro 
  development and reporting skills.
• Proficient in SQL; Experience in using RDBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata,
• Azure Databricks.
• Exposure to programming and scripting languages like Java, JavaScript,
• Python, HTML.
• Exposure to BI and visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, D3.js
