FedEx is hiring for the role of Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serve as a technical expert in complex data analysis and interpretation.
• Support management by providing insights and recommendations to achieve business goals.
• Lead or support projects by applying specialized knowledge.
• Import, clean, transform, and validate data from RDBMS systems (Oracle, Teradata).
• Analyze data to extract meaningful insights and inform decision-making.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve key metrics like yield management and revenue generation.
• Create clear and concise reports, graphs, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Statistics. Master's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, informatics, and statistics.
• Strong proficiency in SAS programming (Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Azure Databricks).
• Exposure to programming and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML).
• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire, D3.js).
